The College of Chinese Medicine West London is affiliated to the College of Chinese Medicine (CCM), London and has operated from its current location since 2008. CCM West London runs professional part-time courses in Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM); Acupressure Massage; Auricular Acupuncture, Anatomy and Physiology, and other Complimentary & Alternative medicine therapies. It also runs a College Clinic offering treatments in Acupuncture, Chinese medicine, Acupressure Massage and other Holistic therapies. It was established to promote the development and education of acupuncture and TCM , as well as other alternative medicine modalities in the United Kingdom, and to preserve and further develop their professional standing and integration into modern healthcare practice.
Courses and teaching
The College is dedicated to the education of high calibre acupuncture and TCM professionals who are proficient in modern western medical sciences as well as traditional Chinese theory. Classes are small and taught by an expert team of acupuncture practitioners, education and clinical specialists. Emphasis is firmly placed on patient-centred education based in clinical practice, where theoretical understanding, practical skills and attitudinal development underpin every aspect of professional learning and teaching. All courses courses are geared towards the realities of modern healthcare provision, and aim to provide students with the skills needed to pursue a successful career in a variety of private or NHS settings, and the knowledge and skills to communicate with patients, GPs, and other healthcare professionals with wisdom, confidence and authority.
Its clinical director and principal TCM and acupuncture consultant therapist is Dragomir Lubomirov Dip TCMAc, MSc, FAcS, MPCHM. Dragomir is the Vice-Principal and Chairman of the Academic board of CCM West London. He has been practicing TCM, acupuncture and manual therapies since mid-nineties and has been teaching at the College since 2000.

CCM West London Clinic is open most weekdays and provides Traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture, acupressure massage and other alternative medicine treatments on appointment-only basis to self- and GP- referred patients.
